VBScript Execute in WinCC Server / WebNavigator Client

VBScript WinCC Server / WinCC Client -WebNavigator Client

Assuming we are working with the WinCC WebNavigator "Web Server" and we want to show or not a specific screen, execute certain conditions, events, etc... depending on where we are executing it from, whether it is Server or Client.

When we do it by C code, we have no issues; we can use the following conditional. In the example of this button, we will show a different screen depending on whether we are on the Server or the Client.

And well, what happens if we want to do it in VBScript, since it is not possible to mix functions between different languages, the script I propose is the following.

Since the variable @ServerName will always be the same, the WinCC server, we can know if the PC from which we are executing is the Server or a Client.

If you liked it or found it useful, share it ... :)
