What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored by the browser on a user's device when visiting a website. They may support technical functions, remember preferences or, when consent is required and granted, provide statistical measurements.

First-party aggregate measurement without cookies

The website sends first-party aggregate counters for page views, article opens, downloads, defined link clicks, library searches by length bucket, scroll-depth thresholds, approximate time on page and load-performance buckets.

This layer creates no identifiers, does not use fingerprinting, does not store full IP addresses, does not store text entered by users and strips URL parameters. Data is aggregated by day, page, event, target, allowed value and general device type. The configured maximum retention is 395 days.

Necessary technical cookies

The website uses one first-party technical cookie to remember your decision:

  • phs_cookie_consent: stores the accepted or rejected choice, consent version, UTC date and approximate duration. Duration: 183 days. Path: /. SameSite: Lax. Secure.

Google Analytics 4

The site uses Google Analytics 4 with Advanced Consent Mode V2. Default consent is set before configuring the tag:

  • analytics_storage: denied
  • ad_storage: denied
  • ad_user_data: denied
  • ad_personalization: denied

If you accept, only analytics_storage changes to granted. Behavioural advertising, remarketing, Google Signals, User-ID and cross-domain measurement are not enabled. When consent is denied, Google may receive cookieless measurements for aggregate data or modelling. This site sanitizes page paths to avoid sending URL parameters. Cookies such as _ga and _ga_* should appear only after analytics is accepted.

Microsoft Clarity

Microsoft Clarity is reserved for full analytics after acceptance. The implementation sends the official consentv2 signal with ad_Storage: "denied" always and analytics_Storage: "granted" only after acceptance.

If you reject or withdraw consent, the state returns to analytics_Storage: "denied" and first-party Clarity cookies such as _clck and _clsk are removed when present. Consent Mode must be enabled in the Clarity project to avoid cookies by default. Forms, searches and editable fields are marked for masking before Clarity loads.

Accept, reject or change your choice

The banner allows acceptance or rejection with visible buttons. Ignoring the banner keeps analytics denied. You can change or withdraw your choice from the Cookie settings link in the footer.
