As the saying goes, better late than never... So first of all, thank you very much Cesar Fernandez.
Among all the news and features, there is always one that stands out more, and for my taste, it has been not just the support for Web controls, but the control itself WinCC 3D Control, which was released for WinCC Unified. Here, one of the first articles related to them was written; if you are interested, check the following link and you can expand more details with the information from Siemens in the following example.
For those who haven't seen the Demo project, here is what we are talking about.
If you prepare your 3D object in advance, you will be able to indicate the parts that make up your machine, with the most prominent elements; you can activate to position the camera to a position for visualization, regardless of the fact that you can freely move the object as you like, rotate it, enlarge it, etc...
You can animate where an alarm has been generated... and many more details. Great job!!!
This control far exceeds what I developed a few years ago for WinCC, precisely for the visualization of 3D objects thanks to the Helix Toolkit.
Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) controls. However, they are not supported in WebUx :-(
And to highlight an advantage, if you develop this control in .Net, you will be able to use it in projects where this novelty was not yet available, such as in versions from 10 years ago, like v7.3 and even v7.2.
